Stamford Bridge hierarchy were quick to condemn the song, supposedly dedicated to Alvaro Morata, which contains offensive lyrics relating to Jews.
And they appealed to those who sang it to desist from the act immediately claiming it embarrassed both the club and Morata.
The Spanish striker scored Chelsea’s opening goal in a 2-1 win at Leicester but the victory was marred when some travelling fans repeatedly sang:
“Morata, whoa, Morata, whoa. He came from real Madrid, he hates the f**cking Y**s.
”Chelsea’s management wasted no time in condemning the sick song and pleaded with their support to ditch it.
Blues coach Antonio Conte was unaware of the offensive lyrics but Chelsea’s Head of Communications Steve Atkins appealed to fans to heed their pleas.
