Yesterday we heard that Swansea City are interested in signing Bayern Munich's attacking midfielder Renato Sanches on loan. And reports suggest that that move is indeed going to go ahead. Quite the coup! The 20-year-old Portugal international joined Bayern from Benfica for €35m in May 2016. Sanches, who made 25 appearances for the German champions last season, was also a part of Portugal's Euro 2016 winning squad. Swansea head coach Paul Clement worked with Sanches during his time as Bayern's assistant manager.

Barcelona remain hopeful of signing Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, but they are now considering alternatives which include Reds’ target Thomas Lemar. Nigeria Indigenous rapper, Olamide Adedeji may be at risk of a N3 million fine and one-year jail term for promoting the use of tobacco in his recently released video, ‘Wo’. According to Dailypost. The federal ministry of health had notified the public that the rapper had violated the 2015 tobacco act, warning that the video had “dangerous public health content”. Online hate crimes should be treated as seriously as offences in person according to new guidance for prosecutors in England and Wales. The pledge to toughen the response to online abuseis part of revised Crown Prosecution Service rules forhate crimes. The guidance also refers for the first time to incidents specifically against bisexual people. The CPS says it is setting out more clearly what victims should expect. The new legal guidance and accompanying CPS public statements guide prosecutors deciding whether to charge suspects of crimes motivated by racial, sexual or religious hatred or because the victim was disabled. 'Corrosive effect' On online hate crime, the CPS says prosecutors must recognise that modern communications provide opportunities for hate crimes - and the cases should be pursued with the same "robust and proactive approach used with offline offending". More people will die from fires started by faulty white goods if ministers do not act to implement safety guidelines, the London Fire Brigade, the city's mayor, and safety groups have warned. In a letter to Theresa May, they say some fridges andfreezers are being sold with a flammable plastic backing. And the letter says people continue to use white goods that are subject to product recalls to fix lethal faults. The Grenfell Tower fire, which killed 80 people, started in a fridge-freezer.The letter refers toa fire in August 2016 in Shepherds Court, a tower block in west London, which began in a faulty tumble dryer. That blaze prompted a whole series of safety recommendations but a year on, the letter points out, no substantial changes have yet been made.
